The Lake Ridge Rapids is a team made up of community kids of varying swimming ability. We are a part of the Metrolina Swim League and participate in 6 meets during our 8 week summer season with other area teams such as Masons Bend, Baxter, Lake Wylie, Tega Cay Breakers, Springfield, Massey, and Lancaster.  

Requirements to Join

• Able to swim 25 meters of the pool unassisted
• Live in the Lake Ridge Community
• Under the age of 19 on June 1, 2026

Time Commitment 

• May 1-June 28
• Practices Monday-Thursday in the month of May
• Meets Mondays and Thursdays in the month of June,
• Practices Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the month of June
• Parent involvement in volunteer roles
